Yellow Transit: Kenworth Cab-Beside-Engine

LTL at its Finest Yellow Transit: Kenworth CBE Links

Kenworth CBE

This special post is from Jim Bryant.  It is full of pictures of a restored Yellow Transit CBE that is a donation to the National Auto Museum in Reno, NV.  I would really like to extend my thanks to Jimmy for the awesome photos!  It sure is good to see an LTL truck being preserved like this!

Here it is! In this photo it is being prepped at the Reno/Sparks, NV terminal to be transported to the museum. Photo by Jim Bryant.

It sat in the garage after being prepped and was waiting to be picked up. Photo by Jim Bryant.

Here's the proud rig that hauled it! A Peterbilt 379 daycab from Cal-Nevada Towing. Photo by Jim Bryant.

It drove on to the flatbed in the late afternoon. Photo by Jim Bryant.

Here they are ready to leave the terminal! Photo by Jim Bryant.
